Information We Collect
Personal Information
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:
Create an account (email address, name, military branch)
Complete your renter profile (TDY location, arrival/departure dates, contact information)
List a crash pad property (company name, contact details, property information)
Send inquiries or messages through our platform
Automatically Collected Information
Optional discovery analytics records page categories, recognized base searches, result counts, referral categories, screen-size categories and technical measurements after you allow analytics. A first-party browser identifier lasts up to 90 days and activity can be associated with your account. Declining stops future optional collection; it does not erase previously collected records. Browser privacy signals are respected for optional collection.
When you access our platform, we automatically collect:
Device information (browser type, operating system)
Usage data (pages visited, time spent, features used)
Signed-in activity dates and successful sign-in history help administrators understand account engagement. Site reports summarize signup, inquiry and message counts; they do not include private message text or search details. Signed-in browsing activity is associated with your account.
IP address and general location data

Public Information
Property listings, including crash pad details, photos, amenities, and manager contact information, are visible to all users of the platform. Renter profile information is shared with property managers when you submit an inquiry.

Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage)
Google Cloud Platform (hosting and infrastructure)
Nominatim API (address geocoding services)

Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and, with your permission, support relevant advertising.
Necessary cookies and storage
These support sign-in, security and remembering your cookie choice. They remain enabled when you reject optional cookies. We save your analytics and advertising choices in your browser’s local storage until you change them or clear site data.
Optional analytics
With your acceptance, Google Analytics and our first-party usage analytics help us measure visits, feature use and site performance. For public articles and base guides, we record the title, clean URL, topic, 50% and 90% scroll milestones, 30 seconds of active reading, and clicks toward rental searches, properties or owner listings. Active reading is estimated from page visibility, focus and recent activity. We may associate these visits with subsequent registrations, inquiries or listing publication within seven days; this is observed association, not proof that the article caused the action. Our discovery analytics uses a browser identifier lasting up to 90 days; activity may be linked to your signed-in account. Private message text and travel dates are excluded from discovery analytics.
Optional advertising: Meta Pixel
With your acceptance, Meta Pixel shares page categories and selected actions with Meta for ad measurement and relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta receives your IP address, browser information and a measurement URL containing a general page category. It may associate visits with your Meta account using its cookies. For public articles and base guides, selected events also include their title, clean URL, topic, reading milestones and renter or owner link-click category. Events include page and listing views, searches, newly created inquiries, registration requests, completed registrations and listing publication. Account and messaging areas are represented only by general categories, without account IDs or conversation contents. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text, search terms or travel dates through this integration. When configured, our server also sends verified registration, inquiry and listing-publication events through Meta Conversions API after advertising acceptance. Browser and server events share an event identifier to avoid double-counting. Server events include browser information and available Meta browser/ad-click cookies, plus renter or owner category; they do not include your account ID, name, email, phone number or private content. We retain a first-party record of conversion facts and delivery status to validate events and prevent duplicate submissions. Automatic event detection and advanced matching are disabled. The full Meta script may set first-party advertising cookies such as _fbp and _fbc; a Meta ad click identifier may be used for attribution after acceptance; browser controls may limit measurement. Meta controls the lifetime of its own cookies. Previous analytics-only consent does not enable advertising.
With optional analytics and advertising acceptance, we also record interest in recognized lodging markets from destination searches, public property and base-page visits, location-specific guide engagement, and inquiries. Map interest requires active browsing of a single-market area; an idle or background tab does not qualify. These are inferred interests, not your physical location or a confirmed assignment. We share the market identifier, action and intent category with Meta for location-relevant ads; its measurement URL may include these categories. We do not share raw map coordinates, typed search text or travel dates. Our own consented records may be associated with your browser and signed-in account. You may have interests in more than one market.
Your choice
Accept allows optional analytics and advertising. Reject declines both; necessary features remain available. You can reopen Cookie preferences here or in the footer and select Reject to stop future optional collection and opt out of this advertising sharing. This does not erase previously collected records. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals override acceptance and keep optional tracking off. Clearing browser storage may cause the prompt to appear again.
Our platform is intended for use by adults, specifically military members and property managers. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
