Compare the room and shared spaces

Ask whether you are reserving a private room, a shared room or the whole property. Clarify bathroom arrangements and which areas other occupants can use.

For amenities that matter to you, get specific answers:

• What kitchen equipment and food-storage space are provided?
• Is laundry on-site, shared or separately charged?
• What internet service is included?
• Is there a suitable place to study or work?
• What parking and guest arrangements apply?
• Are pets allowed for your dates, and under what terms?

Avoid assuming an amenity is present because another crash pad offers it. Ask the manager to clarify anything the photos or description leave uncertain.

Compare written quotes

Give each manager the same dates and occupancy details. Request the lodging charge, separate fees, deposit and cancellation terms in writing. Ask what happens if training dates change, you leave early or you need to extend.
